Fun, I can't even tell if you were thinking in bars at all, sounds more impressionist than romantic to me.
I think this is the difference if you play in a comfortable speed, you get to play with the rhythm. It sounds intentional and not erratic at all.
And the minimalistic harmony variations kind of mirror what you do with the rhythm.
I think this is (for me) the most listenable of your impros so far.
